  1. My daughter is in the 6th grade and I would like to know if she has to pass any of the taks tests to advance to 7th grade. Please let me know if you can answer this.

  3. How or where can I find help using scale factors to change the size of a triangle on a graph? We are working with dilations, rotations, reductions and changing scale factors.

  11. Really helpful for all students..I found a great site that also helps all the students. Here students can test themselves for free of cost. You can get CBSE sample Papers also.

  16. Hi there! Great blog with a lot of helpful links.

    I'm a math teacher in Dallas and I created a math TAKS video game. It has all questions from all TAKS tests (including 2009)for all grade levels, 3-11. You can look it up at www.modada.net.
    Students love it! It makes TAKS prep fun and exciting.

  17. I know TAKS testing is over but some schools also have fun math tutoring programs that are funded my the No Child Left Behind act. Perhaps parents, if your child is struggling you could see if your school has programs like these. One great provider in my child's school is Group Excellence. www.groupexcellence.org. My kids RAVE about them. Check out your local school and see what resources they have to help!!
